We strongly recommend everyone in the exec team does the Startmate Student Fellowship

Why? Highest quality outsourcing of onboarding and upskilling in terms of:

1. Legitimises the idea of a career in startups in Australia, so new exec can see the long-term career relevance of being a part of this society

2. Makes a strong case for why a career in startups is the optimal career choice over traditional pathways in Australia that dominate ambitious student’s attention on campus (e.g. Banking, Consulting, Law or Professional Services)

3. Build shared context (so the committee is on the same page about) wtf is happening in the Aus tech/startup ecosystem, possibly where it's heading and what we can all do about it

All of the above is a powerful lever to secure enduring quality and scale of UQIES
