Why? Why not! Although I think it is becoming less valuable due to the price tag ($200 aud) I still think it is worth it for two main reasons.
Exposure to likeminded young people who are interested in tech (not everyone, but enough for it to be worth it)
Interesting mentors (Book coffee catchups or zoom calls with people you find interesting)
